A paradise for kids!
There’s never a dull moment! A holiday on the farm in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee is a really special time, particularly for children. We still practice a traditional type of farming; driving the tractor out to the field and milking our cows daily, just to name two of our many and varied chores.
Large play area with tree house!
Not only our many animals on the farm provide variety, but also the numerous activities that make a farm holiday in Altenmarkt so special, particularly during the summer holidays.
Our little guests love the large play area with swing, tractors, trampoline, sandpit and much more as well as, of course, the plunge into the big paddling pool on hot summer days. A table tennis match in the garden is also a favourite. But the biggest hit with big and small adventurers alike is our tree house – a special place among the treetops!
The romance of the campfire and crispy grilled sausage!
Our BBQ hut in the garden is perfect for a barbeque on warm summer evenings or afternoons, and of course it's always a thrill for children to stand by the fire and grill a sausage on a stick … because food you grill yourself always tastes the best!

Take advantage of the ideal location of our family-friendly farm, which is only several kilometres from the closest mountain lifts or the Zauchensee region! In the warmer season you can also set off on mountain hikes and bike tours directly from the farm, and an incredible 760 km of slopes await you on your skiing holiday in the Salzburg region!
