Animals at the Palfengut farm
If you spend your holidays on our farm in Altenmarkt, you’ll soon find out there’s always some animal antics at the Palfengut farm. Cows, cats, pygmy ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, chickens and, of course, "Rambo", our farm dog.
Our cows spend the summer on our own alpine farming area in Obertauern where you can visit the animals. The highlight of any farm holiday in Altenmarkt is an overnight stay on our alpine hut – free of charge for our guests, and fun for all the family!

Take advantage of the ideal location of our family-friendly farm, which is only several kilometres from the closest mountain lifts or the Zauchensee region! In the warmer season you can also set off on mountain hikes and bike tours directly from the farm, and an incredible 760 km of slopes await you on your skiing holiday in the Salzburg region!
